Art at school

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” Pablo Picasso

Art has been made a mandatory part of school curriculum. It is a compliment to the sciences and humanities taught through school. It develops a student’s mind to understand the different disciplines by exposing him to new and engaging ideas. Art classes provided in school are the basic and primary source of art education for children. Also, various extra curricular activities carried out in school help to establish various skills such as crafts, design, painting and numerous other forms of visual expression.

With early age a child fosters their interest as well as skills in different forms of art. It is up to the teacher to decide and design his or her own classes. It helps student’s to improve basic artistic skills. It also helps with various visual mediums such as video, photography, graphic design, etc.
